This is a real bighorn sheep (Ovis canadensis) skull from a female individual, presented with both horns intact and removable. The specimen displays well-preserved dentition with some teeth still in the process of eruption, and the nasal turbinates are intact. Suitable for ungulate anatomy study, wildlife biology collections, or natural history display.

The bighorn sheep is found in a large range of the North American west with sub-species occurring in the Rocky Mountains as well as the desert southwest. This wild sheep is characterized by the large heavy horns that the male possess for sparring.
